Rob McElnea became British Superbike Champion in 1990, before going on to race in the World Superbike Championship and Moto GP (then known as the 500cc Grand Prix Championship).
Prior to circuit racing, McElnea cut his teeth on the roads, taking the Senior Manx Grand Prix win in 1980 and following this with TT wins in 1983, 1984 and a round of the TT Formula One World Championship, when he finished second to Joey Dunlop in ’83.
With his riding career ended by injury, Rob became Team Principle of the Virgin Mobile Yamaha BSB Team (remember the iconic ‘Cadbury’s Boost’ livery?), winning three titles and counting names like Niall Mackenzie, Steve Plater and Karl Harris among his riders.
We’ll turn the Clubhouse into a shrine to the gladiators of this great sport, featuring machines and race leathers from Rob McElnea’s career, before boarding you and your guests on a bus for a guided tour round the Cadwell Park circuit with the man himself behind the microphone.
After your bus tour with a difference, we'll bring you back to the Clubhouse, where you'll enjoy a delicious festive meal, followed by a chat with McElnea – and trust us, he has some eye-opening stories to tell!
Book early to avoid disappointment, and enjoy this very exclusive event to kick start your festive period with a glimpse under the surface of international bike racing.
